Locality: "Habitat in Mauritiis. Vigebat in regio horto Kewense A.D. 1817."

Distribution: Mauritius

Note: Marais (Fl. Mascareignes. 183. Liliacees, 13: 1978) sub Lomatophyllum macrum noted that the species is endemic to La Reunion, but also cited that the type was not found.
