Comment/Acknowledgements: This new subspecies is closely related to subspecies cabulica and grandiflora in having large, puberulous or hirsute flowers, but differs in having ± 3-6 mm long pedicels while in the other two subspecies the pedicel is either absent or less than 1 mm long.

Flori hirsuti vel puberuli. Corollae 2.5-4 mm longae. Pedicelli 3-6 mm longi.

Typus: Gilgit in Hunza collis, 16.7.1974, S.M.A. Kazmi 6023 (KUH).

Plants shortly puberulous. Stem laxly branched, erect. Leaves linear, 5-15 x 1-1.5 mm. Inflorescence terminal and axillary corymbose cyme. Pedicel 3-6 mm long. Flowers rose, 2.5-4 mm long. Corolla shortly puberulous, mericarps pubescent-hirsute.
