Notas :

This species does not belong to Catesbaea. The protologue figure shows the the flowers differ in the stamens inserted in near top of corolla tube on short filaments, the anthers dorsifixed well above the base, and a short 2-lobed stigma. This name is under study at this time by Brazilian botanists, and clarification should be available soon of its identity (Gomes et al., in prep.).

Distribución : Southeastern Brazil.
