R. Mathur, l. c. reported this species from Jammu and Kashmir. We have not seen any specimen of this species.
Similar to that of L. thomsonii but differ by having winged petiolate cauline leaves and pappus bristles pale brown. Whereas, in L. thomsonii the petiole of cauline leaves is not winged and the pappus bristles are white.
