Notes:
This is the more commonly collected of the species that were included in Pyragra, though it has not been collected very frequently and its flowers are not yet documented. it is commonly collected on limestone substrates, including tsingy. Psychotria ankarensis is similar to Psychotria betotozafyi, and without fruits these can be confused.
