Annotation: epithet honors "Kaila Mahana Dietz Sagastume" (daughter of the second author), hence sometimes corrected (as in IPNI) to "kailae"; however, the termination is not involved, so ICN Art. 60.8 does not apply; moreover, the epithet as "kaiae" is repeated at least seven times in the article, so is almost certainly intended, and not a typo; more likely, the epithet is based on either "Kaia" (in which case "Kaila," which appears just once in the article, may be a typo) or "Kai" (a nickname of the honoree?)
