Notas de la Lista Roja/Red List Notes:
Eugenia donosoensis is thus far known only from its type collection made near a helipad in primary forest approximately 7 km west of the mining footprint. The area is not currently subject to any threats, and is within the proposed Donoso conservation zone. In the absence of data on population size, and contingent upon effective protection of the Donoso conservation zone, E. donosoensis can provisionally be assessed as Least Concern (LC). Future management of the Donoso conservation zone should take into account the precise location of E. donosoensis, and include research activities to determine its population size.
Updated Dec 2016: A new collection from the footprint (Batista 1570) necessitates a reassessment of Endangered, with 50% future population reduction and 2 locations.
