Notas : See the genus web page for discussion of this distinctive species. It was long treated as Capirona decorticans, including in Delprete's first revision of this species where Condaminea macrophylla was noted to be an older name for it.
Distribución : Wet lowland forest at 100-1300 m, usually in floodplains, in Amazonian Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia.
