Notes:
This species is circumscribed here as detailed by Delprete et al. (2021), with thin-textured leaves, shortly pedunculate inflorescences, rather short calyx limbs, and medium-sized corollas with horned lobes.
Distribution:
Humid and seasonal, lowland gallery forest and scrub, 50-700 m in southern Suriname and scattered localities in Brazil (Acre, Amapa, Pará, Mato Grosso).
