Notas
:
This species is distinctive in its dense hirsute pubedscence, ternate subsssile leaves; laciniate or pectinate stipules, axillary, solitary, subsessile flowers, with well developed calyx limbs, and corollas with the tube 17-20 mm long. This species is still known from only one collection. Danais confusa was described in Sabicea, and is similar to some Madagscar species of that genus and was referred to that by Puff & Buchner (1994). However, this seemst to better agree with Danais and was transferred to this genus by Taylor et al. (2024). It is similar to Danais laciniata.
