"quoad folia et semina, non quoad florem"; the author states "I believe this to be Humboldt's [Amaryllis] minuta, but it cannot be identified with certainty"; because it does not definitely include the type of the prior A. minuta Kunth, Z. lindleyana cannot be deemed illegitimate under ICN Art. 52.1; neither can it be construed as a new combination based on Amaryllis lindleyana Schult. f. (which was also based on Z. grandiflora Lindl., but explicitly excluding A. minuta), which is not cited or alluded to in any manner
