Very like
Euphorbia caeladenia, but differing from it by the annual habit, in having all the leaves linear and irregularly sharply denticulate, and in having the seeds obovoid-subglobose, 3 x 2 x 2 mm, with a prominent narrowly conical caruncle 2.5-3 mm long.
