Distribution: Mexico, Nicaragua [as Guatemala]

Note: Guatemala is used in the sense of the República Federal de Centro América on Friedrichstahl's labels and includes the modern countries of Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and part of Chiapas, México. As far as known, he only made botanical collections from Nicaragua and Costa Rica in Central America. Fide Gerrit Davidse, 2012.
