Root thick and woody, the whole plant not more than 4-5 cm above the ground. Stipules amplexicaul, c. 2 mm, minutely pilose. Leaf imparipinnately compound; rachis c. 7-20 mm long, pilose, hairs white; petiole c. 3.7 mm long. Leaflets 13-19, opposite, c. 3-6 mm long, pilose, hairs white, conduplicate. Inflorescence a peduncled raceme, peduncle c. 1-4 cm long, sparsely pilose. Bracts c. 2.5-4.0 mm long, pilose, hairs white and black, Calyx c. 4-5 mm long, pilose, hairs mostly black, teeth c. 1.5-2.0 mm long. Corolla rose pink, white spot in center of standard. Vexillum c. 9-10 mm long. Wing c. 9.0 mm long, claw less than half the blade. Keel c. 8.0-8.5 mm long. Fruit stipitate, stipe c. 1 mm long, fruit c. 12-14 mm long, c. 9 mm broad (in pressed condition), oblong, membranous, minutely pilose, hairs white, 1 celled, many seeded.
