Flower/Fruit: Fl.Per.: January July.
Type: Holotype: Sind, near Karachi (Kurrachee), Stocks 658 (K).
Distribution: Distribution: Pakistan; India, (Rajasthan); Arabia; Socotra; South West Africa; Somali Republic; Ethiopia; Sudan; Tanganyika; Kenya.
Comment/Acknowledgements: Recent studies conducted in Karachi (Quresh & Faruqi, Pak. J. Bot.2:65. 1970) support this arrangement. More than 500 attempts to cross Rhynchosia minima (L.) DC. and Rhynchosia pulverulenta Stocks were not successful because of the non-germination of pollen on the stigma of the other species.
