Annual herb, branched from the base, erect or ascending. Leaves imparipinnately compound, c. 1.5-3.5 cm long; leaflets 11-15, c. 4-7 mm long, cuneateoblong, entire, retuse, densely pubescent below, sparsely pubescent above, hairs appressed; stipules c. 1.5-2 mm long, ciliate. Inflorescence an axillary, sessile, 2-4-flowered raceme. Bracts c. 1 mm long, ciliate; pedicel c. 1 mm long, pubescent, hairs white. Calyx c. 2-3 mm long, white-hirsute; teeth somewhat shorter than the tube. Corolla pale violet. Vexillum c. 5-6 mm long, limb c. 4.5-5 mm long, obtuse or slightly retuse. Wing c. 4-5.5 mm long. Keel c. 4.5-5 mm long. Fruit sessile, linear, c. 3-6 cm long, c. 1.5-2 mm broad, spirally twisted or more or less round pubescent, 10-20-seeded, attenuate into an uncinate, 4-6 mm long beak.
