Prostrate herb. Tap root quite thick. Branches terete, velvety, hairs brown. Stipules free lateral, c. 2 mm long, linear, pilose. Leaflets trifoliolate; petiole c. 2-6 mm long, petiolule less than 1 mm. Leaflets c. 6-20 mm long, c. 2-7 mm broad, elliptic, acute, mucronate, pilose on both surfaces. Inflorescence 1-6-flowered, a leaf-opposed pedunculate raceme. Bracts c. 1.5-3.0 mm long, acicular. Pedicels 1-4 mm long. Calyx bilabiate, c. 6-7 mm long. Corolla c. 6-7 mm long, yellow. Pod c. 2-3.2 cm long, 6-8-seeded, densely silky.
