Prostrate herb. Old stem quite woody, covered with persistent leaf bases, variously branched. Leaf imparipinnately compound, stipulate, stipules lateral, c. 5-8 mm long, densely hirsute, tips 1-3, petiole 4-10 mm long, rachis c. 5-11 mm; leaflets 9-13, petiolulate, petiolule 1 mm, lamina obovate, 2-3 mm long, c. 2-3 mm broad, margins entire, tip retuse to truncate. Inflorescence solitary axillary; peduncle c. 1.2-4.5 cm long, pilose, hairs black and white. Flowers pedicellate, pedicel c. 1 mm, pilose, hairs black and white. Calyx oblique, c. 13-16 mm long, quinquedenticulate, upper two teeth c. 2 mm, lateral and lower teeth c. 4-5 mm long, pilose, hairs black and white. Corolla yellow, violet tipped. Vexillum 2.5-2.9 cm long, 16-18 mm broad, pilose towards the outer side, tip emarginate. Ovary sessile, c. 13-14 mm long, pilose, hairs black and white, style pilose to the point of curvature, bent at right angles, c. 5 mm from the capitate stigma. Fruit not seen.
