Annual, erect, 30-60 cm tall, glandular-pubescent. Leaves glandular-pubescent, 30-75 x 20-70 mm, pinnatisect into 1-2(-3) pairs of segments; segments 1.4-4 cm long, pinnatifid-partite into irregular obtuse-acute lobes, decurrent. Stipules broadly ovate-acuminate, 4-6 mm long, pubescent. Petiole up to 11 cm long, glandular-pubescent. Bracts similar to stipules, but narrower, 3-4 mm long, scarious. Pedicels reflexed in fruit. Sepals 4-5 mm long, up to 9 mm in fruit, ovate-lanceolate or elliptic-ovate, glandular pubescent, strong nerved, margin scarcely membranous, awn 2-2.3 mm long. Petals pink, c. 8.5 mm long, obovate, claw narrow, ciliate. Filaments c. 5 mm long, dilated part ciliate. Beak 5-5.5 cm long. Mericarps c. 8.5 mm long, barbate, conical pits 2, glandular, no furrows.
