Comment/Acknowledgements: This species is not common in W. Pakistan. It resembles a Psammogeton in general appearance but the fruit structure is like that of a Cuminum. The fruit has the same aromatic smell as the fruit of Cuminum cyminum.

Plants annual, c. 20 cm tall, dichotomously branched. Leaf bases sheathing; sheaths membranous. Leaves ternatisect; segments filiform. Rays 3-4, c. 5 mm long. Involucral bracts divided, segments filiform, margin membranous; bractlets similar to the bracts. Fruit oblong, 4-5 mm long, densely villous; hairs white, 5-7 mm long, situated on the secondary ridges; hairs margins serrulate; vittae solitary under the secondary ridges. Inner seed face slightly concave.
