Type: Syntypes: [Soviet C. Asia] "Altai et desertorum Songoro-kirghisicum, C.A. Meyer (K, LE).
Comment/Acknowledgements: This is recorded by R. R. Stewart (l.c.) from the Kurram valley, based on Aitchison 545. The locality Ali Khel, however, is on the Afghan side of the frontier in the Kurram valley. The specimen, which should be at Kew, has not been located. The record must be considered doubtful as no other localities outside of the Caucasus, Soviet Central Asia and China are known for Calamintha debilis.

Annual. Stems slender, 5-15 cm, pubescent. Leaves 10-20 x 3-10 cm, oblong-ovate, shortly pilose, glaucescent, cuneate, denticulate, margins ciliate; petiole 5-15 mm. Verticillasters 2-8-flowered in axils of upper leaves, pedunclate. Pedicels c. 5 mm. Bracts small, lanceolate. Calyx c. 5 mm, slightly curved, pilose, tubular, somewhat pendent, bilabiate; teeth lanceolate, arislate, ciliate. Corolla white c. 6 mm. Nutlets c. 0.5 mm, oblong-ovoid.
