Trees shrubby, up to 15 m tall. Twigs glabrous, fulvous. Leaves 10-20 cm across, somewhat circinate, 5-7 lobed; lobes lobulate-acuminate, glabrous except bearded in the nerve axils; base concave to hastate; petioles 10-20 cm long, lactiferous. Inflorescence corymbose. Flowers yellow-green. Samaras 3-4 cm long, more or less erect; nutlets compressed, glabrous.
