Type-Protologue
Locality: Type from Cultivated Plant. Originally from Panama: Chiriquí. Fortuna Valley, N side of river near La Sierpe, 11 May 1982, flowered in cultivation 20 May through July, flowers very pale yellow, lip heavily spotted with purple laterally, weakly spotted medially, callus flushed with purple above, shading to 2 dark distal spots
