Locality:
Introduced by the late Baron de Schack to our gardens from Trinidad. Bulbs of it were received at the Liverpool Botanic Garden, where they flowered in the month of June of the present year (1825), and whence a magnificent spike of two feet in length, together with the bulb and leaves, were sent to me by Mr. H. Shepherd.
