Medium sized trees; bark greyish, deeply grooved. Leaves in clusters of two, 50 ‑100 x 1 mm; resin‑canals submarginal. Cones up to 10 x 3‑4 em, brown, stalked, ± drooping. Seed 6‑7 mm long, winged.
