Annotation: nom. inval., as syn."Agrostis delicatula Pourr. Chloris Hisp. n. 254 ?" of "Agrostis capillaris Liinn. Spec. 93 (excl. syn. ed descr.), Smith Ic. 3. t. 54. Trin Ic. 3 ta. 25.; Name definitely not accepted by Kunth. The later name was validily published by Lapeyrouse (1818), who also cited Chl. Hisp. n. 254. but gave one collection from Saint-Paul de Fenouilhendes in France SE Pyrenees

• OM: There is a specimen at P filed under "Vilfa ?" collected by Pourret in Gallicia, det as Agrostis delicatula Pourret ex Kunth. apparently with Kunth's notes from Eum. Pl. (1833)
