as "Crusgalli," but a slight disalignment suggests a printer's error; partly on that basis, Linnaeus's intent is deemed to have been a two-word epithet, mandating the insertion of a hyphen; see ICN 60 Ex. 42, and the note (under "Echinochloa") in Index Nominum Genericorum
