This sheet was the basis of the illustration in Sp. Gram. Icon. 1: pl. 23 (1828). A second sheet filed with the Lectotype, LE-TRIN-1647.02, has no data or notes on the sheet of any kind. A US fragm. from hb. Munich, "Martius, Iter. Bras., Prov. Minar.[?]" is probably an ILT. ILT: G00168405, M, US-(fragm. ex hb. Munich)

This US fragment represents material not found under Vilfa aenea Trin. folder in 1994, Trinius himself did not associate "Langsdorff", or montibus altus prope Tepico with this species protologue in Gram. Panic. 1826 or Sp. Gram. Icon. 1828.
