Annotation: This name may have been legitimately published with the Baenitz distribution of Herabrium Europaeum in 1884, with a description by Hackel in the addendum [apparently reprinted verbatum by Hicken in 1918], however, we have not seen this addendum. The name was also published by Conert, 1961, with the type material.

  • ST: G.P. Lorentz, Herbarium Americanum; Feb-Apr 1881; Argentina, Sierras Pampeanas, Naposta grande The L sheet is No. 722. The US material appears to be perfect flowered, protandrous. The US sheet 1127150 ex W has a herbarium no. 72.. but there seems to be a 3rd digit that was trimmed of the label, the other US sheets lack herb. nos.
