Description
|
Glabrous vines. Leaves elliptic, coriaceous, shining, apically mucronulate, basally rounded, 7-10 cm long and 4.5-6 cm wide; petioles 1.5-2 cm long. In- florescences umbellate, 5-8-flowered; peduncles ca. 1 cm long; pedicels 2-2.5 cm long. Flowers white, sweetly fragrant; calyx lobes ovate, 5-6 mm long and 3-4 mm wide; corolla salverform, the tube 2.2-2.7 cm long, the lobes ovate, 1.1-1.2 cm long and 6-8 mm wide; corona lobes ovate, fleshy, shorter than the anthers; gynostegium much shorter than the corolla tube; stigma head conical, undivided. Follicle ellipsoid, 7-10 cm long, glabrous, fleshy.
