Tall woody climber, glabrescent, sparsely hairy in its younger parts. Leaves ternate to pinnate with 5-7 distant leaflets. Leaflets 3-10 cm long, petiolate, broadly ovate-cordate, coarsely dentate to incised dentate, sometimes 3-lobed, acute to nearly caudate. Flowers numerous, in panicles. Sepals whitish, 10- 12 (-14) mm long, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, acute or subacute, not ribbed, sparsely hairy outside, densely tomentose inside. Filaments flattened, linear or tapering ± abruptly towards the anthers, densely hairy. Anthers often narrower than the filaments, glabrous. Achenes pubescent. Styles 2.5-3 cm, very slender, ciliate.
