Notas
:
This species is characterized by its branched low habit; narrowly elliptic, subsessile, opposite leaves; inflorescences with the flowers solitary; and blue corollas with relatively large lobes for Declieuxia. This species has a low, dense, cushion habit. The flowers are positioned so they extend barely beyond the leaves, and the relatively long and broad corolla lobes give this species a more showy floral display. In habit and flowers Declieuxia irwinii, with cymose flowers, is similar. Without mature corollas, this species is similar to Declieuxia lysimachioides and Declieuxia dasyphylla.
