Notas
:
Remijia ferruginea is characterized by its verticillate, rather large leaves with the secondary veins deeply impressed, its lax large inflorescences, and its habitat in dry vegetation in central Brazil. Remijia paniculata is very poorly documented, but does not seem to be distinct from Remija ferruginea. Remijia ferruginea is similar to Remijia amazonica and Remijia firmula, which are found in wet forest vegetation in the Amazon basin.
