Notas
:
This species was circumscribed by Zappi (2003: 521-527, fig. 1) as widely distributed and morphologically variable, with ecotypic variation. She synonymized several names to characterize this species as having clinal variation, and recognized four subspecies. In general Rudgea jasminoides has medium-sized leaves, tubular stipules with a well developed medial appendage with well developed glands at its tip, paniculiform inflorescences, the flowers sessile in small grous, short calyx limbs with triangular to linear lobes, funnelform bright white corollas, and generally obovoid fruits. Rudgea jasminoides subsp. jasminoides is the most widely distributed and commonly collected subspecies.
