Note
|
Elias 1785 (MO) from the Rio Mulatupo, San Blas, is probably P. brachyotis. It is in fruit. The fruits are sessile, rotund, to 2 cm in diam., lignose, lenticellate, and the persistent calyx is 1.8 cm long. On this collection the petioles are not intact in the specimen and no auricular appendages are visible.
