This species is only known from the type, and is separated by its leaves that are moderately to perhaps rather sparsely villosulous to hirtellous on the lower surface, its pilosulous inflorescence axes and calyx, and its medium-sized white corollas with the tube ca. 10 mm long. It may be similar to or the same as Ladenbergia klugii and L. stenocarpa.
