Notes: This species is characterized by its rather small rounded stipules with a medial ligulate appendage with glands at its tip on each side, its small to medium-sized petiolate leaves, its short laxly cymose inflorescence with the flowers subsessile in a dozen or more small heads, its rather small flowers, and its somewhat small orange fruits. Rudgea crasssiloba is similar to Rudgea erioloba, Rudgea citrifolia, and Rudgea mcphersonii.
Distribution: Evergreen to semideciduous forest and gallery vegetation at 50-400 m in the northeastern Amazon basin, in central and southern Venezuela, Guyana, and northern and northeastern Brazil.
