Notas :

This species is poorly known, apparently from one collection. It has medium-sized petiolate leaves, somewhat small laciniate stipules, pedunculate inflorescences, and calyx lobes 10-15 mm long. This species is similar to Amphidasya venezuelensis of northern Veneuzuela and Amphidasya intermedia and Amphidasya colombiana in north-central Colombia. Amphidasya neblinae and markedly disjunct apparenlty from the rest of the genus, but such disjunctions are not otherwise unknown in the Guayana region. Amphidasya neblinae was inaccurately reported only from Brazil by Taylor et al. (2004).

Distribución : Wet vegetation at 140-300 m on the Sierra de Neblina in northeastern Brazil and southeastern Venezuela.
