Notas :

This is the only species of Amphidasya with a branched shrub habit sevral meters tall, entire stipules, and regularly pedunculate inflorescences. Amphidasya venezuelensis is somewhat similar to Amphidasya neblinae and Amphidasya intermedia. which have laciniate stipules. 

Distribución : Wet and cloud forest at 400-1400 m, Cordillera de la Costa in northern Venezuela.
