Plants 25-50 cm tall, branching; stems woody at the base, erect or flexuous, 2-3 mm in diameter, yellow-green above, purplish below, glabrous or sparsely hairy; inconspicuously gland-dotted. Upper leaves 22-35 x 3 mm, linear to lanceolate; lower oblanceolate, the intermediate trisect with linear segment. Leaves glabrous with glands, subacute to obtuse, base attenuate, tapering at the petiole. Inflorescence corymbose, spreading. Bracts small, lanceolate. Flowers yellow, shortly pedicellate. Sepals 0.8-1.5 mm, triangular, shortly ciliate, fused basally, persistent, with large glands in the centre. Petals oblong, c. 5 mm, shortly clawed, gland dotted. Stamens unequal, filaments c. 4.5 mm, expanding from the middle, hairy and glandular within. Ovary 5-locular, pubescent; style glabrous, 3 mm. Capsule sessile, 3-4 x 1.7-2.5 mm, 5-lobed, dehiscent, shortly pubescent in the lower portion, densely glandular-punctate. Seeds 2 in each locule, rugose with transverse striations.
