Comment/Acknowledgements: Found in the Baltistan and Kaghan areas from 4300-4430 m. Grows on rocks forming almost smooth cushion-like tufts and mats.

Stems densely tufted, decumbent, 3-6 cm long. Leaves 2 mm long, densely imbricate, broadly oblong, apex obtuse, flattened with a white perforation, keeled below. Flowers white, terminal, solitary, sessile. Sepals 1.5 mum long, ovate, obtuse, glandular-ciliate. Petals 3-4 mm long, limb suborbicular, base unguiculate, margin undulate, sometimes lobed. Filaments c. as long as the sepals. Style short. Capsule broadly ovoid.
