Distribution: Distribution: NW. Himalayas; from Kashmir to Kumaon at c. 4900 m.
Comment/Acknowledgements: Plant material from Chitral, Dorah Pass, 13500', Stainton 3245 (RAW); differs in its small stature, only 2-3 cm tall, almost glabrous sepals, and glabrous pedicels. With more material it may prove to be a new subspecies.

Stolons glandular (c. 0.6 mm in diameter in herbarium material). Leaves with long, subspinulose cilia, with pointed acumen at apex. Sepals basally adnate.
