Distribution: Turkey, Russia, Europe and Pakistan.
Comment/Acknowledgements: Grows in rocky ledges, among stones and steep slopes at 1500-3100 m.

Erect, annual herb, 5-10 cm tall. Cauline leaves 5-8 x 3-6 mm, ovate, 2-3 lobed, with truncate base; terminal lobe acute-obtuse, lateral lobes acuminate, medianally incurved, longer than broad, upper antrorse, lower patent. Floral leaves similar to cauline leaves 4-8 x 3-5 mm. Flowering begin at node 2-(3). Raceme lax. Flowers 8-10 mm long; pedicels c. 1 mm long. Calyx 3-6 mm long; lobes 1.5-2.5 x 0.5-1.5 mm, unequal; tube 1.5-3.5 mm long. Corolla white with purple streaks, throat yellow, dorsally 6.5-9.5 mm long; tube 3-4.5 mm long, externally pubescent especially on the upper lip; upper lip 2.5-5 mm long, lower lip 3-4.5 mm long; lobes oblong, rarely spathulate, obcordate, erose-slightly notched, middle lobe largest 2-3.5 x 1-2 mm, left lobe 1.7-3 x 1-3 mm, right lobe 1.5-3 x 1.5-2.5 mm, left and right lobes unequal. All anthers with unequal-subequal awns; hairs short, equalling the shorter awn. Capsule 4-4.5 x 1.5-2 mm, oblong, retuse, shorter than the calyces, sparsely ciliate at the upper part; cilia soft. Seeds 9 per capsule, 0.75-1.5 x 0.25-0.75 mm, oblong, obtuse.
