  • T: Lamarck s.n.; 1796-1798; St. Thomas, W.I. (P) Proposed by Freytag (1954) as the type of ~Guazuma ulmifolia~, a name which is, however, a subsitute name for ~Theobroma guazuma~. This specimen is not a valid choice for typification since it was from the Lamarck Herbarium and collected much later than the publication of the name by Linnaeus. - fide Cristobal (1989)
