Plants small, in tufts. Stems erect, branched. Leaves erect-spreading, ovate-lanceolate, slightly concave; margins entire, lower margins bordered by narrowed cells; costae percurrent. Dioicous. Setae slightly curved, 10–25 mm long; capsules horizontal to pendulous, club-shaped; opercula conic, rostrate; peristome perfect, double.
