30. Fissidens kinabaluensis Iwats.    拟狭叶凤尾藓   ni-xia-ye feng-wei xian
J. Hattori Bot. Lab. 32: 269. 1969. Type. Indonesia: North Borneo, Mt. Kinabalu, Iwatsuki 160 (holotype NICH).
 
Plants small, yellowish green. Leafy stems simple, 2.2–3.0 mm long, 1.5–2.5 mm wide; axillary hyaline nodules distinctly differentiated; central strand not differentiated. Leaves in 5–15 pairs, densely arranged, complanate, not crisped when dry, lower leaves smaller, middle to upper leaves larger, narrowly lanceolate, 1.2–1.8 mm × 0.2–0.3 mm, acute at apex; bases of dorsal laminae wedge-shaped; vaginant laminae ca. 2/3 the leaf length, nearly equal; margins entire, bordered throughout by differentiated cells, 1–2 rows of cells at upper margins, 3–4 rows of cells at lower margins, one cell thick in cross section; costa strong, yellowish brown, shortly excurrent; cells of apical and dorsal laminae quadrate to irregularly hexagonal, 3.5–10.5 µm long, thin-walled, obscure, densely minutely papillose; cells of vaginant laminae similar to those of apical and dorsal laminae, but larger at base near costa. Sporophytes not seen.
