Syntrichia percarnosa oblong-spathulate leaves (not fragile) to ca. 3 mm, weakly constricted at midleaf, acute-rounded to obtuse, cucullate apices, partially bistratose, and absence of propagula.
Syntrichia percarnosa presenta hojas oblongo-espatuladas (no frágiles) hasta ca. 3 mm, débilmente constreñidas a media hoja, ápices agudo-redondeados a obtusos, cuculados, parcialmente biestratificados y propágulos ausentes.
