General/Distribution: Nearly 10 species in Europe, Asia and N. Africa; only 2 recorded from our area.
Comment/Acknowledgements: Taxonomically a difficult genus because of the highly polmorphic nature of some of its species; hence the status of several of its species and infra specific taxa are not definite.

Small annual herbs, exactly like the previous genus, Draba Linn., but petals deeply bifid, white, sometimes absent or suppressed; stamens 6 or 4 (the 2 outer sometimes suppressed). The following amendment in the generic description, hitherto published, should be made:

Petala 4 vel nulls; stamina 6 vel 4.
