(Lane, 1979)

Two species, U.S.

The decision by Lane (1979, 1982) to accept the segregation of the genus Amphiachyris from the closely related Gutierrezia based upon a suite of morphological and cytological features was corroborated by Suh and Simpson’s (1990) subsequent molecular phylogenetic analysis.
