Type-Protologue

Note: Originally including C. monandrum (=Phippsia algida), and C. stevenii (= C. versicolor). Lectotype by exclusion. by Griseb., in Ledeb. Fl. Rossica 4: 384. 1853, but this ineffective. Of the 2 species cited by Trin. only one was retained in Colpodium s.str. “sect. Eucolpodium” nom. inval., C. steveni. C. algida was accepted as Catabrosa algida.
